About Corinne

Corinne graduated from American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Upon returning to Maryland, she began working in special education at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her work in special education inspired her to return to school in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University. She then earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from University of Maryland, where she specialized in trauma.

Corinne combines her background in the arts and her trauma-informed education to incorporate experiential and expressive therapies while treating clients. As a certified experiential therapist and certified clinical trauma professional, Corinne practices EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), brainspotting, pyschodrama, sensorimotor psychotherapy. Corinne also is a certified yoga teacher 200 and holds certifications to practice trauma-informed yoga and yoga nidra.

She began working at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center in 2015 as a Primary Therapist where she facilitated individual, group and family therapy. From there, Corinne held the roles of Trauma Recovery Specialist and Trauma Clinical Supervisor before becoming MARC’s Director of Clinical Development, where she was responsible for the overall educational and training development of the clinical team, as well as the ongoing development and implementation of all trauma-based services within the agency. During that time, Corinne created trauma programing and curricula for patients served. She also developed procedures and trainings for all staff as well as specialized training for the clinical teams.
